This compact, 1/2 inch tool diligently reconditions tap seats without the need for disconnection from your existing pipework, thanks to its design which features tapered cones that screw smoothly into tap bodies with top threads.
Looking to work with taps featuring recessed threads? The Monument 458N is well-equipped to handle that too, all you need to do is use the inclusive parallel bush series. Every inch of this tool is built for durability and precision - featuring case-hardened cutters that carve with incredible accuracy, a feedscrew that allows pinpointed adjustments, and integrated parts that are fully interchangeable.
This tap reseating instrument is a perfect fit for the traditional 1/2 in BS1010 flat seats. Bundled with this tool is a pair of flat cutters (17mm and 19mm - or 11/16 in and 3/4 in), and a tapered cone.
