Available in 7 different grades ranging from Ultra Fine 0000 to Coarse 4, it is designed to cater to a variety of project requirements. Grade 0000 is perfect for polishing and cleaning delicate surfaces like bronze, copper, chrome, stainless steel, aluminium, porcelain, marble and glass without causing damage. It can also be used in between coats of French polishes, varnishes and oil finishes to create a refined finish.
For light cleaning and surface preparation, you can choose between Grade 00, 0, and 1. Best used with Liberon Wax and Polish Remover, these grades are effective in removing built-up wax polish, smoke and dirt on wood. They are perfect for prepping wood or metal surfaces before re-polishing, waxing, varnishing or painting.
For more robust cleaning tasks such as removing polished, varnished, lacquered and painted surfaces from wood and metal, or eliminating rust, our heavier grades (Grade 2, 3, 4) have got you covered. They perform best when used with Liberon Fine Wood Stripper.
To ensure safety and maximum effectiveness, we recommend using a finer grade of Liberon Steel Wool if you're unsure. Each pack contains 250g of Super Fine grade 0000 steel wool, ensuring enough material to last a variety of your projects.
Through marrying practicality with sublime finesse, our steel wool is more than just a product; it's your partner for all maintenance, cleaning and restoration endeavors.
