The lamp was designed by the two designers Gonzalo Milá & Alex Fernández Camps, who were inspired by the shape and structure of a sea urchin when designing Garota. Especially the shade, which sits on the quite simply designed base, draws attention to itself, because it is woven by hand from recycled synthetic fiber. The polyethylene ellipse additionally inserted in the wickerwork not only protects the highly efficient LED lighting from any weather influences, but also guarantees a particularly homogeneous light diffusion. When switched on, a fascinating interplay of light and shadow is created in the surroundings, transforming them into an absolute oasis of well-being.
